Freegate foundry was formed in 1969 by the Ashby family, experienced founders stretching over four generations. Although our knowledge stretches over various non ferrous and ferrous castings we now focus on a range of aluminium grades and now out source any other materials. We produce castings in traditional green sand, oil sands and environmentally friendly gas set sands.
Utilising bale out furnaces we can keep a continuos batch of molten aluminium ready which allows us to give quick turnarounds when needed. Small batch and one off's are not a problem for us. We can quote on new patterns or supply contact details to local pattern makers.
